This conference is one of the most prestigious events for English language teachers in Hungary. We are expecting around 350 participants this year, who will be the best of Hungarian state and private educators, decision makers and other ELT professionals. The 3-day event will take place on 9-11th October 2015, at the Eötvös Loránd University Campus in Budapest.

The title and theme of the conference are as follows:

As teachers we all know the importance of reflection. It can help us when we first start teaching and we have little experience, but it can also be important to reflect when we have gathered considerable experience and we want to make sense of it in order to pass it on to others or understand our own development better. Just as good teachers learn through reflection, so good teacher associations can develop in the same way. At our 25th conference, we invite you to join us in reflecting on a quarter century of transformative change in education, both in Hungary and in the wider world. Help us understand better where we are right now and look forward to where we are going. Let’s inspire future generations of teachers and try to illuminate a possible road ahead for them by looking back at where we have come from.
