*FROM TRENDS TO PLANS*
*Navigating the changing landscapes of language education*
For all of us, positioning ourselves on the changing map of the ELT world is a challenging task. We have to work out where we are, where we are going and the best way to get there. We need to prepare for tomorrow by exploring new routes and meeting other professionals as we travel the road to becoming more aware and more effective teaching practitioners. The aim of our 23rd annual conference is to help you plot your course through ELT trends old and new and adapt them to your own teaching situation.
At the conference, you will hear presentations in the following fields:
- - intercultural communication, multicultural challenges
- - English for Specific Purposes
- - Business English
- - teacher education (pre- and in-service) and career paths
- - information and communication technology
- - special needs education
- - lifelong learning
- - language education related research
- - the methodology of TEFL and ESP
